Personalized 12 x 6 inch car tag with your name or text
Your own text on a front license plate style car tag, made to order. The letters are built into the face as a solid color, flush with the plate surface, not a sticker or vinyl decal, so there is nothing to peel.
Create and preview your tag
- Text: 1 or 2 lines, up to 12 characters per line (spaces count). Enter each line in the designer and check the live preview.
- Font: Block (bold capitals), Script (flowing handwriting style) or Varsity (collegiate block letters).
- Colors: plate face color and text color, chosen from Black, White, Red, Navy Blue, Silver. Pick two different colors; very low-contrast pairs such as navy on black are not accepted.
- Allowed characters: letters A-Z (upper and lower case), numbers 0-9, spaces and . , ' - & ! ? #. We print exactly what you type - please check spelling.
- Text is automatically sized to fill the plate: shorter text prints larger.
No logos or trademarked names. We cannot print team names, brand names, logos or any trademarked or copyrighted wording, or offensive text. Orders with such text will be cancelled and refunded.

Details
- Size: 12 x 6 inches (304.8 x 152.4 mm), about 4 mm (0.16 in) thick.
- Four horizontal mounting slots, 18 x 7 mm, on 177.8 mm (7.000 in) x 120.65 mm (4.750 in) centers. Compare with your bracket before ordering.
- Material: PLA plastic, matte finish. Letters are a separate color layer about 1 mm deep, flush with the face.
- Decorative front tag. This is not a government-issued registration plate.
- Made to order in the USA by Got Items. Ships on or before 3 business days after your order.
Photos are computer renders of actual generated plate models with example text; your plate will show your text. Printed surfaces show fine layer texture, and colors may vary slightly from your screen.
